On-again, off-again celebrity couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are believed to have reunited romantically after the two were spotted enjoying quality PDA in a hotel pool side in Beverly Hills.
"Jelena" fans are hoping that the two have finally found their way back to each other's arms, while some speculate that the rendezvouz could just be another flirting session and is not an indication that the two are going steady again.
According to a source close to Selena Gomez, the singer-actress is purportedly hoping that Justin Bieber would surprise her on her 23rd birthday on July 22.
"Selena would love to be whisked away on her birthday by Justin, but knows getting out of town might be tough," an insider told Hollywood Life exclusively.
"She loves the idea of celebrating her special day with Justin at Disneyland. That used to be their favorite place to go together."
Selena Gomez allegedly wants to spend her birthday not only with Justin Bieber, but also with her close friends. However, the former Disney actress purportedly knows it's a bleak possibility.
"In a perfect world, she would want to celebrate her birthday in Disneyland with Justin and her closest friends, and that includes Taylor," the insider added. "She would love it if they could all double date to the Magic Kingdom, but realizes that it's never going to happen."
Despite Selena Gomez' purported hopes of being whisked away by Justin Bieber on her birthday, nothing seems final as of now, especially since The Biebs is also linked with other celebrities including Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin.
"If Justin doesn't step up to the plate and take her somewhere, her friends will," the insider said.
"Everyone loves her so much they'll make sure she has a special birthday no matter what, but they all know her first choice would be to go on a romantic vacation with Justin."
