Undeniably, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart spent a big part of their youth together exploring their overnight popularity in the wake of the box office success of "Twilight" movies.

Has Robert Pattinson's mother, Clare Pattinson, been attached to Kristen Stewart that she's having a hard time accepting that her son is now engaged to FKA Twigs? Quite the contrary, according to reports.

In fact, according to Daily Mail, Robert Pattinson's mom even supported FKA Twigs in one of her recent gigs.

"It would seem that Rob's latest flame has a fan in the form of Clare as she and her famous son were in Manchester to lend the singer some support before the first of two performances at the arts festival," Helen Turnbull wrote in her article in Daily Mail.

"The Video Girl hit-maker premiered some special work made during a residency at the festival during four intimate, live performances at the city's Old Granada Studios."

According to speculations, Clare Pattinson's approval of FKA Twigs may have little to do with how well she liked or disliked Robert Pattinson's ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.

"Regardless of how well the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart showmance worked, Clare Pattinson is now team FKA Twigs," Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote. "Rob's mom is a fan of his rumored engagement to the 26-year-old artist."

However, the wesbite went on to speculate about the motives of Robert Pattinson's mom in giving FKA Twigs her approval.

"Maybe Clare just wants the rumored Pattinson - Twigs wedding happen to put an end to Kristen Stewart's constantly looming stigma? It's unclear as rumors could easily turn an innocent handshake into a Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart cheating scandal," the wesbite wrote.
