The Duggars' finances purportedly went down the hill after the Josh Duggar scandal broke a few months ago.
Aside from criticism about how Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar handled the molestation accusations against their eldest son a decade ago, the Josh Duggar scandal also caused the family to lose their show, "19 Kids And Counting."
The money that the family lost over the cancelation of "19 Kids And Counting?" $25 million and counting, according to OK! Magazine.
According to reports, the Duggar family is purportedly asking their fans for donations to produce new videos after the TLC dropped their show in the wake of the Josh Duggar scandal.
"Reports claim Jim Bob and Michelle have a home in foreclosure, and now, the shameless Duggars are reportedly begging their fans for money," The Hollywood Gossip wrote.
"The ultra-Christian clan's official YouTube channel, Duggar Studios, has a new ad asking for fans and supporters to contribute funds. Why? So the kids can create 'fresh quality content' on their site.
"The family is asking for contributions so the kids can use their cell phone cameras to post more videos of themselves doing day to day things."
Some speculate that the family doesn't really need a lot of money, considering the format and content of the videos that they've been producing.
"The videos, featuring the children playing basketball and going to the dentist, don't seem to require much of a budget," Radar Online reported. "Also, clips are only uploaded to the account once every few months."
The report also recounted Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard asking for donations as they ventured on a religious mission in Central America a few weeks after the Josh Duggar scandal broke. The couple has also been under fire over asking for donations without purportedly fully explaining their mission.
