There have been rumors in the past that Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth are not in the best terms.
Previous reports claimed that Queen Elizabeth has allegedly been spying on Kate Middleton's household in order to get a clear vision of how her granddaughter-in-law manages her role as wife of the future king.
Kate Middleton allegedly hired one of Queen Elizabeth's spies as their new housekeeper who allegedly reports to the Queen everything involved in "middle-class revolution" at the Duchess' household, including having Carole Middleton act as the matriarch of the Amner Hall.
Amid all the tensions between the two, one event allegedly made Kate Middleton's feud with Queen Elizabeth even worse - Prince George's 2nd birthday party.
Allegedly, Kate Middleton was offended that Queen Elizabeth didn't come to her son's birthday party purportedly without any valid reason.
"This would have been the perfect opportunity for the Queen to show her support for Kate," Life & Style magazine wrote. "There are clearly some tensions. The Middletons thought that the message they were getting from the Queen was definitely a disapproving one."
According to reports, the Queen purportedly still doesn't approve of Kate Middleton's family, including Carole Middleton's alleged meddling in Kate and Prince William's Household. It has been previously reported that Prince Charles also doesn't appreciate the Middletons purportedly having a bigger role in raising Prince George and Princess Charlotte compared to the royal side of the family.
"Queen Elizabeth despises Kate Middleton's commoner family," Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote. "And the Duchess herself isn't at the top of her list of favorite people these days - no one is really surprised that the Queen ditched the birthday party to prove a point.
"But, regardless of what her point was - it's still sad that George couldn't be with his great grandmother on his birthday because she is embroiled in a petty feud."
