Penny and Leonard's wedding is so on! According to season 9 spoilers for "The Big Bang Theory," producers are currently looking for a minister who will officiate the ceremony.

"They'll certainly get close to tying the knot," TVLine's Michael Ausiello wrote. "The CBS smash is currently looking for a male actor in his 50s to play a minister in the Season 9 premiere, which confirms that P&L are still in full-tilt Vegas elopement mode when the action picks up."

Showrunner Steve Molaro dished "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 spoilers when he told TVLine, "We pick up a few hours after the Season 8 finale. Leonard and Penny were headed to Vegas, and we're going to catch up with them right there."

Fans have been left hanging in the season 8 finale when Penny and Leonard got into an argument on the way to Vegas for their wedding.

Jessica Rawden of Cinema Blend wrote that once Penny and Leonard goes through with the wedding, it will have a whole new dynamics in the show.

"However, I'm not sure I'm excited about seeing episode after episode where Penny and Leonard drag on their courtship without being proactive about it," she said.

"And a potential break-up would be devastating for some fans, too. Wherever Season 9 is going, there are certainly pros and cons."

As to Sheldon and Amy's wedding, there's no word yet on how that relationship will play out in the coming season 9.

"When last we left that couple, a conversation about The Flash led to an argument, which then led to Amy choosing to break things off with her longterm beau," Rawden added.

"Alas, in a move that shows how truly often that couple is not on the same page, Sheldon had bought her an engagement ring and was waiting for the right moment to pop the question."
