After Bobbi Kristina Brown was laid to rest next to her mother, Whitney Houston in New Jersey, there was bickering among family members about how Krissy's coffin photo was sold for $130K in the same way that an unauthorized picture of Whitney Houston in an open casket had been obtained by a tabloid in 2012. Krissy's coffin photo was reportedly sold to the highest bidder for a sum close to $130,000, reported News.com.au.
The photo of Krissy in an open casket was reportedly taken on Friday during viewing, according to TMZ. Apparently, family members of Houston and Brown don't get along and they were blaming each other for the photo leaking to the press. In July, a photo of Kristina Brown was taken by a family member in the hospice where the 22-year old was being treated in an induced coma. The family member also tried to sell Krissy's picture.
"A picture of Whitney Houston's body lying in the casket wound up making it onto the cover of a supermarket tabloid after the singer died," the LA Times reported. "That shot was believed to have been taken inside the funeral home."
Bobby Brown, former husband of Whitney Houston, was not present when Kristina's body was buried next to Whitney. In 2012, Bobby Brown left the funeral service of his ex-wife, blaming a seating-mix up. Bobbi Kristina had suffered from psychological scars due to the domestic problems faced by her parents, who were both singers.
Whitney was found in her bath tub in the same fashion that Bobbi Kristina was found in her home. Whitney was suffering from a drug problem after her tumultuous marriage with rapper Bobby Brown. And their daughter Kristina had experienced anxiety and depression from the problems she experienced at home.
