Angelina Jolie revealed that directing her husband Brad Pitt in their latest collaboration, "By the Sea" was no walk in the park.
"It was difficult to be both inside and outside of the scenes, to be able to give directions," she told People. "It was hardest [when] I was directing our fight scenes."
But before the tabloids could scream divorce, Angelina Jolie claimed that the film only drew them closer.
"I understand and appreciate his creative process and his work ethic even more than before," she said.
Describing the movie, Angelina Jolie said, "It focuses on three couples, all at different stages in their lives. And at its center are the questions of what happened to Roland and Vanessa and why they are in the place they are now."
The synopsis for "By The Sea" read, "Set in France during the mid-1970s, Vanessa, a former dancer, and her husband Roland, an American writer, travel the country together. They seem to be growing apart, but when they linger in one quiet, seaside town they begin to draw close to some of its more vibrant inhabitants, such as a local bar/café-keeper and a hotel owner."
An earlier article from In Touch Weekly, per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are on the verge of divorce and they are just waiting for the release of "By The Sea" to make the announcement.
It said, "Brad's the one who is calling time on their marriage. He's told Angie that they are over. He is beyond miserable and he wants out. He says that she has controlled him since day one of their relationship."
"She was bossy and demanding and humiliated Brad in front of the cast and crew a number of times" and her actions allegedly "made him think that getting married was a huge mistake - instead of bringing them together, it drove them further apart," the source alleged.
