While the tech-world awaits the new iPhone launch in September 2015, Apple announced it's plans to hold a big event early in September 2015 to take the wraps off its next iPhone. According to John Paczkowski of BuzzFeed, that event will happen on Wednesday, September 9th.
Traditionally, iPhones have been introduced during this timeframe every year since 2011.
BuzzFeed has also provided an Apple TV update and the long-awaited product will be released in September along with new iPads. These releases will correspond with the release of the new iPhone 7. The latter was originally rumored to be introduced at WWDC this year. But rumors suggest that the so rumored that it was not quite ready for the launch.
The new iPhone will be physically identical to last year's iPhone 6. The changes that we can see will be some radical hardware changes. It is rumored to include the force touch technology included on the Apple Watch and the company's new MacBook and MacBook Pros.
The Apple TV update reveals a complete redesign of the hardware that Apple's been offering unchanged since early 2012. If Apple has managed to make the TV stand out, it could be worth a lot of attention in the company's presentation, according to The Verge.
The launching of the new iPads is expected in September. It sounds that the event will be cramped. But, given the fact that iPad business in general is slowing down, the product category is unlikely to attract the headlines during the event, say tech watchers.
Cupertino, California-based Apple will feature Mac and OS X updates in October.
Whether or not this will be the year we finally see the rumored large screen iPad Pro remains to be seen - but such a product would take advantage of the new iPad multitasking features present in iOS 9. The Verge has reached out to Apple for a comment on this report.
