Jared Leto has been gaining media attention over how purportedly serious he is in portraying The Joker in "Suicide Squad" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

However, not much has been reported about the plot of both movies, as well as how Jared Leto will interpret The Joker in the upcoming superhero and supervillain flicks.

Some fans believe that Jared Leto's recent tweet could shed light on how he will be portraying The Joker and "Suicide Squad" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

The actor recently posted a shadow of a man, most probably himself, wearing something that reminded fans of a particular Batman comic book. Is this a hint of the storyline that fans could expect from "Suicide Squad" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?"

"...In his most recent picture, is seen wearing a hat that looks very like the one worn by the character in comic 'Batman: The Killing Joke,'" Independent reported.

"Leto's previous shots give more away (the latest is just a silhouette), with one particularly striking image showing him with green hair holding a camera in a pose that mirrors the cover of 'The Killing Joke.'

"Fans have taken these teases to mean that there must be plot similarities between the comic and The Joker's storyline in the movie."

It has been previously reported that Jared Leto has been very dedicated to playing the role of The Joker in "Suicide Squad" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Jai Courtney, who plays Captain Boomerang in "Suicide Squad" dished out to MTV about how Jared Leto stays in character for his role.

"I don't think any of us are naïve to the pressure he's under," Courtney said. "It's not something I've talked about with him, but I've seen him working and it's cool, man."
