The latest “Dancing with the Stars” season 21 cast update hinted that Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick is joining the ABC reality dance competition.

Multiple reports claimed that Kourtney's baby daddy is going to put on his ballroom shoes and follow Kim and Rob's footsteps who competed in season 7 and 13, respectively.

"He really wants to do it because it would allow him to make money, be close to the kids and show the world he isn't such a wildcard that he has made himself out to be," an insider told Hollywood Life.

The publication further reported that Scott Disick is determined to show Kourtney Kardashian that he is a changed man.

"He wants to show that he actually wants to change his ways and show Kourtney the man she fell in love with," the source added. "He wants Kourtney back. He's really having second thoughts about everything and feels like he's most likely throwing away the most important thing in his life."

Since the "Dancing with the Stars" executives have failed to cast Caitlyn Jenner for season 21, it was said that they have spoken to the other reality stars to take her place.

Meanwhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry is not convinced that the big bosses of ABC will be offering a spot for Disick in the reality competition. The outlet claimed that in his current state, he is more of a liability than an asset.

"There is no way a live television show is going to take a chance on him," the publication noted.

It continued, "All they need is for Scott to take the stage drunk on a nationally televised episode of DWTS and make a complete mockery of the show. He's a liability and too loose of a cannon, ABC isn't going to touch him with a ten foot pole."
