The latest "Game of Thrones" spoilers revealed that Rory McCann (The Hound) may be returning in the season 6 premiere episode.
McCann's character was last seen in the season 4 finale episode, in which he was begging Arya (Maisie Williams) to end his life after a brutal fight with Brienne (Gwendoline Christie).
"The Stark girl refused to give him mercy and left him have a slow, painful death. However, his demise wasn't conclusively seen on screen, leading some fans to believe that he's not dead yet," reported Design & Trend.
Rory McCann was also recently spotted staying at a Belfast hotel, a place where most of the "Game of Thrones" stayed during filming. Watchers on the Wall also pointed out that the actor did not have any projects at the moment. The outlet noted that there was no other plausible reason for him to be staying in the hotel, other than to be filming for "Game of Thrones" season 6.
When asked about the probability that his character may still be alive, McCann said that it is definitely possible.
"There's always hope, but, I don't know," he told Access Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Maisie Williams may have refused to reveal further "Game of Thrones" season 6 spoilers, but the actress said that she wanted to see Rory McCann join the cast again.
"I really hope that it's not the end of the Hound," she told Vulture. "I honestly don't know what's going to happen, either, but in terms of speculation? If it was up to me, and it's not up to me, unfortunately, but the Hound would be back in a second."
"I think if you haven't seen the dagger in their back, they could still be alive, so I'm hoping that they're going to come back. In an ideal world, they'd all come back," she added.
