Hillary Clinton might get a huge boost in her campaign as "The Good Wife" season 7 spoilers hint that the former Secretary of State will be featured prominently in the show as Peter will gun for the White House.
Robert King dished plenty of spoilers for "The Good Wife" season 7 to TVLine, as he said that Peter will run against Hillary Clinton as the Democratic bet for the president.
He also said that the show will run almost in real time as the events will be timed with the Iowa Caucus on Feb. 1 next year.
"It's going to happen in our show. We're trying to parallel what's happening on our show with what's happening in reality," he teased.
Of course, that will present a slew of challenges because the show will basically play a guessing game when the writers go to the drawing board.
The showrunner explained, "The difficult thing for us is we started writing these scripts in June, so you're always kind of guessing where things are going. And we're stunned in politics how things change overnight."
"We're not sure if Biden will enter the race at this point. We have the ability to ADR some lines in if that's necessary, but we're kind of playing the betting game at this point."
The only time "The Good Wife" season 7 won't follow the events on real-life politics is the scenario. If Hillary Clinton can secure the Democratic vote, it doesn't mean that Peter won't in the show.
Nevertheless, the showrunners shot down the suggestion that Donald Trump will also join the show as co-producer Michelle King said that "there's not been reason to bring (him) up" since the storyline revolves around who will be the Democractic bet for the White House.
Watch out for more "The Good Wife" season 7 spoilers which will be published when they become available.
