Belle and Merinda will find time to bond with each other as they embark on a quest, according to the latest spoilers for "Once Upon a Time" season 5.
Showrunner Adam Horowitz told TVline, "We've always wondered what would happen if Belle and Merida went on an adventure together. We hope you do, too, because it's coming!"
Amy Manson was cast as the new character Merida, the red-haired firebrand from the animated movie, "Brave."
TVLine dished more spoilers for "Once Upon a Time" season 5 as it said that the show is "casting the possibly recurring role of Sir Lionel, a distinguished knight who sits at King Arthur's Round Table and is a single father to his 13-year-old daughter, Violet."
The fifth season will have Emma becoming the Dark One, which can become problematic for her loved ones, particularly Captain Hook.
In an interview with E! News, Colin O'Donoghue said that Hook's relationship with Emma has become "awkward."
The actor dished, "He spent so long trying to kill the Dark One and now he's going out with her. Look, Hook loves Emma and he wants to try and protect her heart at any cost."
"He spent most of last season trying to save her from the darkness, not to let her go, because he knows what that's like. Unfortunately she's now dark so he's going to try and fight to bring her back to who she used to be."
But Jennifer Morrison said that Emma is embracing the Dark Side exactly for her loved ones.
"Now that she's tethered to the darkness, she's free of that ... She's going to face the darkness in herself and figure out how to overcome it," she said.
