The latest "Teen Wolf" season 5 spoilers revealed that Marisol Nichols will be joining the cast in the coming episodes as Desert Wolf.

The "NCIS" star will play Malia's (Shelley Hennig) biological mom in the MTV series.

"Malia doesn't know much about her, because she was adopted by the Tate family shortly after her birth," reported Design & Trend.

"Malia previously thought that she's responsible for her adoptive mother and sister's deaths, but in her most recent memory, she saw a female figure with two guns firing at their car."

"Though she didn't actually see the face of the murderous woman, Malia had a feeling that it's the Desert Wolf," it added.

Marisol Nichols said that the showrunners prohibited her from revealing further "Teen Wolf" season 5 spoilers. However, when it was finally announced that she is going to be part of the cast, the actress revealed that she can no longer contain her excitement.

"I was going to tweet on my first day of shooting, and they were like, 'Absolutely not,'" she told TV Line.

"Since then, I've had some time to get used to the phenomenon that is 'Teen Wolf,' and I'm really excited to continue with it.

Nichols admitted that she had been hesitant to accept the role because of its huge fanbase. She revealed that she was surprised to find out how everyone has been supportive of her character.

"I was a little scared because I started getting so many tweets after that first announcement like, an insane outpouring from fans," she told the publication.

"So I thought, 'Wow, people really love this show...They're going to hate me!' But they've been supportive: "I love you, but please don't hurt Malia."

Marisol Nichols revealed that she has only met Tyler Posey (Scott McCall) but is excited to start working with everyone in the cast.
