After he was banned from attending Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral, Nick Gordon visited his girlfriend's grave at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey last Aug. 17.
His visit to the grave came days after the Atlanta District Attorney's Office has amended the civil case to include wrongful death after Bobbi Kristina Brown expired at the hospice last month.
According to People magazine, some "generous friends" helped Nick Gordon secure the airfare to be able to visit the grave of his former girlfriend.
"Brown, who was 22 when she died, was buried next to her mother, Whitney Houston, on Aug. 3, following an Atlanta-area funeral service two days prior," it said.
"The family - including her father, Bobby Brown - banned Gordon from both; Gordon instead paid his respects at the beach, which his mother said was 'their favorite place to go.'
The last time Nick Gordon was at the cemetery was to be with Bobbi Kristina Brown while they visited the grave of her mother, Whitney Houston.
"Three months after the 48-year-old pop diva tragically drowned in a Beverly Hilton bathtub, he and Bobbi Kristina visited Whitney's grave while filming Lifetime's 'The Houstons: On Our Own'" noted Daily Mail.
Nick Gordon has been mostly silent amid all the accusations leveled against him over the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
But a couple of weeks ago, he tweeted about how he was pining for the happier days with Bobbi Kristina Brown.
He wrote, "I look at our pics sometimes it makes me smile sometime I cry @REALbkBrown #happymemories. I'm so happy/blessed that I had @REALbkBrown in my life. i will always & forever love you."
The allegations in the lawsuit against Nick Gordon were very serious as it suggested that Bobbi Kristina Brown's death wasn't accidental and he had something to do with it. Whitney Houston's daughter was found face down in a tub in January this year.
