"Dance Moms" may have been renewed for another season but not all cast members will reportedly return come season 6.
Nia Sioux Frazier, together with her mom Holly, was said to be having second thoughts about coming back to the reality series. According to Realty Today, the Lifetimes executives have already started doing casting calls, which could only mean that they will be replacing the other members of the ALDC team.
The publication further pointed out that Abby Lee Miller has always been partial to her other students, including Maddie Ziegler and Kalani Hilliker. The coach reportedly felt that Hilliker could eventually replace Ziegler as one of its top students.
In one of the season 5 episode, viewers saw Miller change the rules of the competition for Kalani Hilliker. When Nia Sioux Frazier won against her, the ALDC coach went back on her word that the winner will get to do the solo at the Nationals. She claimed that Frazier just got lucky, adding that she needed a sure thing to win the contest.
"Somehow the rules change when Nia wins! Are you surprised? #Dance Moms @realniasioux," tweeted Frazier's mom.
"Dance Moms" fans are worried that Frazier's music career may be the reason why she is no longer interested in coming back for season 6. As reported by the International Business Times, the 14-year-old recently launched her new song "Slay," a follow-up to "Star In Your Own Life."
"'Slay' is a very motivational song." Frazier explained.
"It's about being yourself and that everyone can slay at everything. It doesn't matter who are, what you look like, all shapes, sizes and colors."
The dancer added that she was surprised when Abby Lee Miller allowed fellow co-star JoJo Siwa to appear on her music video. She claimed that Miller does not any of the ALDC girls to be part of anything that she is doing.
