The DeMarcus cousins will be leaving the Sacramento Kings roster before the NBA season begins, if the recent trade rumors are to be believed.

Although the team's owner incessantly denies claims that the DeMarcus cousins will be traded in the upcoming season, multiple reports suggested that a trade is not far from happening.

"Certainly, owner Vivek Ranadive absolutely wants to hold onto DeMarcus Cousins," said Howard Beck of Bleacher Report.

"But I've been told that if you polled the rest of the organization, the vast majority are in favor of trading DeMarcus Cousins and that would include, though he denies it, Coach George Karl."

The latest NBA trade rumors also suggest that the Los Angeles Lakers have long expressed interest towards the Demarcus cousins. It was said that Sacramento Kings may just eventually have to trade their players for Lakers' Roy Hibbert.

"A blockbuster trade with the Kings for Cousins isn't beyond the realm of possibility, but it may be a stretch, especially if Roy Hibbert proves to be the perfect fit in Los Angeles early on," reported Lakers Nation.

"The trade rumors surrounding Cousins will almost certainly continue unless the Kings show they've turned things around in the first two months of the season."

Following Kobe Bryant's retirement, it was said that the team has been second thoughts about Roy Hibbert's abilities. They are reportedly keeping a close eye on the DeMarcus cousins thinking that they just might be the perfect fit for their team.

Hibbert, on the other hand, claimed that he is determined to prove herself to Bryant. The athlete shared that he has been training non-stop in order to gain Bryant's approval and respect.

"I'm up for a challenge," he told CBS Sports.

"People tell me a lot of different things, how he'll respect me, and I feel like if I go about my business, I can get it done."
