Despite HBO execs and "Game of Thrones" insisting that Jon Snow is dead, Kit Harington continues to spend time around Belfast, where the series is filming, and the British actor still hasn't cut his hair.
Those two things kept fans' hope that Jon Snow is not dead and that Kit Harington will be back for "Game of Thrones" season 6 in April next year.
The Internet is replete with theories about how Jon Snow can come back from the dead. The finale of season 5 showed Melisandre-who now has the power to resurrect the dead-going into the wall. She was even staring at Jon Snow while on horseback as if she knows what was going to happen.
There's another theory about Jon Snow warging into his direwolf, but that's quite difficult because it took Bran a long time to learn to control how to warg despite being naturally gifted.
"There is a way Jon's death could stick while Harington still appears on the series," said Hollywood Take. "It's possible that Jon will appear in flashbacks throughout Season 6. That would explain why Harington has not cut his hair, and why he has been spotted in various GoT filming locations (most recently Spain)."
Michael Lombardo, HBO's programming head, said during the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, "Dead is dead as dead as dead."
"He be dead. Yes. From everything I've seen, heard, read, Jon Snow is indeed dead," he said.
Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, told People, "People are really hurt by it, but that's what this show does. If you haven't learned that by now, well, I can't help you."
There's another theory about Kit Harington hanging around the location shoot of "Game of Thrones" in Belfast and that's because he might be filming Jon Snow's funeral, which would confirm that the fan favorite is indeed dead.
