According to previous reports earlier this 2015, the "Mission Impossible" star's girlfriend has caught a lot of attention for purportedly looking a lot like Tom Cruise's ex-wife, Katie Holmes.

And now, Tom Cruise is purportedly ready to take his relationship with his girlfriend to the next level. Will the "Mission: Impossible" actor propose to Emily Thomas this 2015?

"Tom Cruise is reportedly so head over heels in love with his 22-year-old assistant, Emily Thomas, that he is considering proposing to her," Inquisitr previously reported.

However, there are no updates yet about when the actor alleged plans to pop the question.

Back when Tom Cruise was shooting "Mission: Impossible 5" in November, Us Weekly reported that the actor has already been crushing on Emily.

"He's always flirting with her," a source reportedly said. "Most people on the film have noticed how into her he is. He's already asked Emily to go out to dinner with him, on a date, when they're done shooting."

There are also rumors that the 22-year-old brunette is allegedly open to the philosophies of Scientology, possibly making her connection with the actor natural and easy-going.

"You know his assistant is cool with all the crazy Scientology talk, since she agreed to be his assistant," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.

"Tom probably thinks that's his cue to go hit on any female, so long as she's not scared by his cult-like religious affiliations. One can only hope that this Emily doesn't feel pressured into dating Tom, even though Hollywood pressure will probably force her hand on that one."
