Dakota Johnson reportedly split with boyfriend Matthew Hitt to date Jake Gyllenhaal.

According to Radar Online, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress was quite cozy with the "Southpaw" actor at an LA nightclub last week.

The witness told the tabloid, "Jake and Dakota were accompanied at their table by different people throughout the night - including the owner of the bar [that's] so inaccessible to the public that it doesn't even have a name. They left the venue through separate exits, Johnson out the front and Gyllenhaal via a back door."

The eyewitness added that Dakota Johnson and Jake Gyllenhaal were "glancing back at other" when they made their way to the exit "as if they were getting away with something."

Dakota Johnson and Matthew Hitt were rumored to have split before, but that was because of all the hype regarding the "Fifty Shades of Grey" which reportedly put pressure on their relationship. Apparently, the very private rocker couldn't stand all the attention of the paparazzi.

"Jake Gyllenhaal is a pimp," said CDL. "If he is trying to keep his date a secret, it's most likely because he went on three other dates that night. Then again, Jake was reportedly devastated when he and Dakota broke up the first time - so maybe the prolific bachelor is ready to chase his ways and finally settle down."

Jake Gyllenhaal and Dakota Johnson dated four years back but split on amicable terms. And this wasn't the first time the two were rumored to have gotten back together.

In February this year, when Matthew Hitt and Dakota Johnson were on a break, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" star was rumored to be back in the arms of Jake Gyllenhaal.

Hollywood Gossip also claimed that Jake Gyllenhaal has always considered Dakoa Johnson as "the one that got away."
