With the recent departure of Guns N' Roses' guitarists DJ Ashba and Bumblefoot from the most recent news that Slash and Axl Rose have apparently reconciled after a longstanding feud, rumours of a classic Guns N' Roses lineup reunion are swirling about.

The 50-years-old American drummer Steven Adler is the first member from the original Guns N' Rose to comment on the recent developments. In an interview with Jasta Show, the drummer who was fired from Guns N' Roses over his heroin addiction in 1990 said that he happy that the relationship between Slash and Axl is improving. "I think that's great, 'cause it's been too long. The world has missed out on 25 years of great music, because those two weren't together. It's a shame, and I'm just so glad that they're talking and everything is in the past like it should be. 'Cause I love those guys. Axl doesn't realize that I'm the one who loves him more than anybody," Steven added.

When asked about the reunion, Adler said that he is 100 percent behind it. According to him, if the original lineup played together, the arena would cry with joy.

Steven Adler even said that he wouldn't mind working along Matt Sorum, the drummer who replaced Steven Adler prior to Guns N' Roses' "Use Your Illusion" albums. However, the drummer pointed out a huge difference between their styles. According to him, Matt Sorum is a perfectionist and can record a song with only one take but the song is going to sound like a machine. "I might not do it on the first take, but it's gonna have feeling to it and soul to it. It's gonna swing," Adler added in his interview with Jasta.

Steven Adler also said that all the five members of GNR has achieved all their dreams just because fans loved their music. "I want to finish what I started with those guys. You know, because we started something great, I want to end it on a good note. I want to end it great and be a part of that," he added.

Despite the reports from the promoters and the recent developments in the Guns N' Roses camp, there is no official word of a 'classic' reunion from GNR's representatives at this time.
