‘The Martian’ Movie Update: New TV Spots Revealed; Film Has Actual Scientific Connection

"The Martian" movie would not be the first sci-fi movie when Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain have worked together. The duo was also seen in the remarkable Nolan's "Interstellar." However, Director Ridley Scott is promising a very different movie from "Interstellar."

The upcoming release of the "The Martian," will follow the story of Matt Damon who is on a space mission along with his crew. After a storm, Matt Damon is left on a stranded planet with meagre supplies. The rest of the crew on Earth presumes that he is dead. After a lot of struggle, Matt Damon is able to send a signal to Earth that he is alive and well. The rest of the movie is about bring Damon back to Earth.

According to IMDB, there is a mission plan in the novel by Andy Weir inspired from "Lords of The Rings," and named as Council of Elrond. The man involved in this mission plan is Mitch Henderson, which is played by Sean Bean in "LOTR."

"The Martian" is believed to be very accurate since NASA scientists provided inputs to create the story. The script itself has 70 pages in-details from NASA. To make the film more real, the production team has shot the movie in red deserts of Wadi Rum in Jordan.

"The Martian" movie US release date is October 2, 2015 and will release in UK on September 30, 2015. Apart from Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain, cast also includes Sean Bean, Kristen Wiig, Chiwetel Elijofor, Jeff Daniels, Naomi Scott, and Kate Mara.

"The Martian" has received a PG 13 rating due to strong language and partial nudity. "Tell the world, tell my family that I never stop fighting to make it home," the new TV spot "Never Stop Fighting" reveals Matt Damon's character Mark Warney saying.
