Michael Fassbender's on-screen chemistry with Jennifer Lawrence in "X-Men: First Class" reportedly spilled over offscreen.

According to the National Enquirer, per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Michael Fassbender's relationship with Alicia Vikander is in trouble because of Jennifer Lawrence.

Allegedly, the two developed a mutual liking to each other during filming of the "X-Men: First Class," and Jennifer Lawrence was more so into the "Prometheus" actor than the other way around.

"Fassbender was rumored to have broken up Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence so he could hook up with the actress. According to The Enquirer, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence are already coupling up but are keeping it quiet for now because of Alicia Vikander," CDL said.

Radar Online alleged that Michael Fassbender might be ready to throw away his relationship with Alicia Vikander for Jennifer Lawrence.

"Michael and Jennifer were locked in conversation for a long time, he was charming the pants off her," the source told the tabloid. "And even when she was talking to other people at the after party, Jennifer couldn't keep her eyes off Michael!

"They initially met on the set of X-Men: First Class a few years back and got on like a house on fire. And they'll be reunited again for the film's sequel when that starts filming in the next few months," the article added. "So, they will be seeing a lot of each other - and it's clear to see there's a strong physical attraction between them."

Accordingly, Jennifer Lawrence is not averse to breaking up Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander as the tabloid claimed that Chris Martin's ex is willing to go on a date with the "Prometheus" actor once she finishes production for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

"She might want to be wary of [her ex-boyfriend] Nicholas' feelings though - as he's also going to appear in the X-Men sequel!" the source claimed.
