Emilia Clarke has her fair share of nude scenes for "Game of Thrones" but is the 28-year-old British actress done showing some skin?
In an interview with Daily Mail, the "Terminator Genisys" actress said that sex scenes should be more subtle.
"I'm British, so I cringe at that sort of thing anyway - I can't stand it," she said. "I don't want to have sex thrown in my face and I've always thought the suggestion is so much more titillating than the act itself."
According to the report, Emilia Clarke had told HBO bosses that she doesn't want to be nude in "Game of Thrones" again as she told them that she "wanted to be known for my acting, not my breasts," as relayed by her co-actress Oona Chaplin, who plays Talisa Chaplin.
"Most sex scenes you see in films or on TV are gratuitous and they're usually just to attract an audience," Emilia Clarkeadded. "On screen, the subtler the better."
In an interview with Metro magazine, however, Emilia Clarke said that she's not totally opposed to doing nude scenes even for "Game of Thrones."
She said, "Yeah, right... I always say I should do more exercise, but I don't have a sporty spirit. Something that I do have clear is that I have no objection to taking off my clothes, as long as the story justifies it."
The British actress, however, fears being typecast.
"I have done naked scenes before, and I was worried about being stigmatized by doing it again," she said.
Because of the success of "Game of Thrones," Emilia Clarke became a household name, which she isn't always comfortable.
"I'll confess that I don't like what fame brings; sometimes I just want to be invisible, so I can walk down a street and enjoy a good time," the "Terminator Genisys" actress said.
