Fans of Naughty Dog's"The Last of Us" video game may have been excited over rumors that a movie adaptation of the 2013 PS3 release would be underway soon.

One of the actresses who are allegedly being tapped to play the role of Ellie in the "The Last of Us" movie is "Game of Thrones" star Maisie Williams.

However, there may be complications involved in the possible casting of Maisie Williams in the movie.

Some argue that 18-year-old actress who plays the role of Arya Stark in "Game of Thrones" may be a bit too old to portray the role of 14-year-old Ellie in the post-apocalypse movie.

Another complication could be the actress's schedule, as she is currently involved in the gargantuan production of "Game of Thrones."

"In between now and 'The Last of Us'' start date, Williams could either lose interest in the role, or become too enmeshed with other projects to participate;" Andy Crump of Screen Rant pointed out.

Aside from her age, some believe that Maisie Williams may be a bit too mature to play Ellie on "The Last of Us" movie, especially now that she has already done her very first sex scene for an indie film called "The Falling."

Speaking to Vulture about the sex scene, the "Game of Thrones" actress admitted that making it was uncomfortable for a first timer like her.

"It was extremely awkward!" Maisie Williams said. "But [co-star] Joe [Cole] was very sensitive to the fact that I had never done a scene like this before, and it was great to work with someone who was so considerate of that."

Despite the sex scene, some argue that Maisie is still the best actress to play Ellie in the "The Last of Us" movie, as she does quite well in portaying the role of a young, brave girl, much like Arya Stark in "Game of Thrones."

However, producers are yet to release details about the project, much less information about the cast members, and fans would just have to wait for more updates about the movie adaptation.
