Tom Holland was announced to star in the "Spider-Man" reboot in 2017, but is there going to be a link with the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
For instance, will Stark Technologies be involved?
"In Amazing Spider-Man #529 Tony Stark builds Peter Parker a suit which incorporates Iron Man technology from Stark's company," said Latino Review. "Peter Parker used this suit during the Civil War while he was on the side of Iron Man and the Superhuman Registration Act."
Then there are rumors that the web shooters that will be used by Tom Holland's character in "Spider-Man" reboot in 2017 will be designed by Tony Stark.
However, few clues as to why this won't happen.
And as fans know, "Captain America: Civil War" will air next year, featuring a much older Peter Parker who will ally with Tony Stark at first before swinging sides with Steve Rogers.
The storyline of "Captain America: Civil War" reads, "As Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team."
"The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain."
In "Spider-Man" reboot for 2017, however, Tom Holland will play the webslinger as a teen and most of the Marvel canon pointed out that Peter Parker designed the suit and web shooters himself.
"Latino-Review has been told that the original comic book plot of Iron Spider will not be part of 'Civil War' but instead Stark will be the one responsible for creating Spidey's web shooters," the article said.
Umberto Gonzales of Heroic Hollywood said that Peter Parker would have been active as the webslinger for about a year before the events of "Captain America: Civil War."
