New rumors surrounding the marriage of Kate Middleton and Prince William claimed that the Duke of Cambridge is one jealous husband.
According to reports, Prince William purportedly wants Kate Middleton to only have a female bodyguard.
Is it because he's too jealous and he wants to monitor his wife's movements?
Not quite. According to a former member of the Scotland Yard unit responsible for royal protection, it was allegedly Prince Charles' idea.
"From the start, when Kate became engaged, it was Charles who made the women-only stipulation, saying he didn't want her compromised in any way," the source reportedly told Express.
According to the report, Prince Charles purportedly wanted to avoid a situation similar to what he allegedly faced with the late Princess Diana before.
There are rumors that Princess Diana allegedly got too close to her bodyguard Barry Mannakee, who was removed from service and died in a motorcycle accident eight months later.
"I've heard that Prince Charles is more involved in who is being appointed. And if he asks for more women he will get more women," Diana's former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, reportedly said.
"The trouble with Diana was she got on better with men. She did have a woman once but she didn't last long. You have to have a good chemistry with the person you're looking after."
"With all of Prince William and Kate Middleton's marriage troubles, it's hardly surprising," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
"Kate is William's second choice for a wife, and Kate seems to be in love with the position of Duchess of Cambridge instead of William. Kate went to extreme measures to marry Prince William, switching schools and waiting to attend St. Andrews for an entire year, just to be with Wills... before she had even met him," the report added.
It has earlier been rumored that Kate Middleton and Prince William have allegedly been having marriage problems because of the Duchess' alleged postpartum and jealousy.
