The new "Spider-Man" reboot will feature Peter Parker at the age of 15 and going to face all the normal life problems which a teen faces like, coping with friends and homework while trying to figure out the powers he just inherited.This is when he begins to understand his powers. The film will also feature Kraven 'The Hunter,' the archenemy of Spider-Man who wants to defeat Spider-Man to prove that he is the greatest hunter in the world.
After Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield, it would be Tom Holland who will be playing the role of webslinger in the upcoming reboot.
In an interview with Empire Magazine, director Jon Watts said that the upcoming "Spider-Man" movie will focus when Peter Parker is in high school and will focus his life at school and struggling with the powers. If Peter Parker is in high school then fans can conform the age of Peter in the upcoming reboot. Jon Watts also confirmed that, this would be the first time when any Spider-Man movie will not focus on how the Peter got his powers and becomes a superhero.
"I love the idea of making a coming-of-age high school movie," Watts said in the Empire Magazine report.
According to Screen Rant, Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige said that the upcoming movie will show how Peter copes with high school life and his powers. "With great power comes great responsibility,' said Feige. "It is inherent to who his character is. But we want to reveal it in different ways and spend much more time focusing on this young high school kid in the MCU dealing with his powers.
"There is a young kid [already] running around New York City in a homemade version of the Spider-Man costume in the MCU, you just don't know it yet," Watts added.
According to ComicBook.com, there are chances that in the rebooted "Spider-Man," Tony Stark will come to Spider-Man's rescue from Kraven 'The Hunter' and help in making an Iron Spider costume for him.
John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are writing the solo "Spider-Man" movie. Director, Jon Watts is planning to release the film on July 28, 2017.
