Emma Watson who has been quiet by far apart from announcing her now role in 'Beauty And The Beast' is now talking about it. Watson who is playing Belle in the most awaited animation movie will also sing three new songs in the film.
Watson said that Allan Menken has written three new songs for the live-action take on the animated film, 'Beauty And The Beast.' The actress also noted that the new film will have three new songs and a deeper story than that of the animated classic, according to Ventura Capital Post.
Emma Watson Kick Starts Singing Career
The Harry Potter actress who has never tried singing before said that it was such a fun getting to sing. She also said that she learnt dancing and horse-riding alongside trying singing for the film. The charming actress noted that "Beauty seems like a completion of a nice little circle" that kick started with her role as Hermione. Watson said that she felt the roles Belle and Hermione very personal and playing them is quite special to her.
Luke Evans Opens Up About Emma Watson
Meanwhile Luke Evans who is playing Gaston in the movie told MTV that "She's [Watson] great. She epitomizes what Belle should be in the 21st century to young girls; she's a strong woman. We all know Emma as Emma, a strong woman, she has a voice, she uses it very effectively and I admire her for that. She's brought some of that to Belle," reported Bustle.
Evans who also described Watson as wonderful said that she has such a great singing voice and she is a triple threat.
Evans added personally that "She's not just a Disney princess, she's more than a Disney princess, and she has a beautiful sensitive side to her. She's quite delicate to look at, but she's not at all. She's a really strong, feisty woman and we have some fantastic scenes in the film. I was making her laugh more than she should have been laughing."
