There's allegedly a feud brewing between Lorde and Selena Gomez, according to the latest news.

Apparently, Justin Bieber's former girlfriend is not very fond of of the "Royals" singer. The reason behind Selena Gomez' bad vibes towards Lorde is not clear, but an eye witness claimed that a rift between the two was purportedly evident during the MTV Video Music Awards.

"When Tay (Taylor Swift) greeted Lorde warmly at a VMA after party, Selena gave the 'Kiwi' singer the scariest death stare," a source reportedly told OK! Magazine, as published in a news article in their latest issue.

Despite Selena Gomez' alleged hostility towards the "Royals" singer, Lorde purportedly has no intentions of jumping in a fight with the former Disney star because she doesn't feel like they're on the same league.

"Lorde wrote her own musical success, Selena can't write or produce on her own," the insider added, as quoted in the news report.

Though the root of the alleged feud is yet to be publicized, some speculate that Selena might be insecure of the "Royals" singer.

"Selena Gomez tends to pick fights with anyone she feels intimidated by or feels insecure around, that has been her MO in Hollywood for years - so it's really no surprise that she has an issue with Lorde, or any other female singer as amazing as Lorde," Celeb Dirty Laundry speculated in their latest news article about the two.
