After months of dating, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are allegedly preparing to take their relationship to another level by getting engaged.

According to the latest issue of OK! magazine, as shared by CDL, the couple was spotted shopping for an engagement ring at XIV Karats in Beverly Hills.

"He said he wanted something very special for Taylor," the source claimed. "He was asking about the best gemstone cuts, and he eyes a ring that cost $1.4 Million. He was clearly eager to get the perfect rock, no matter what the cost."

However, before Calvin Harris will make their engagement official, the Scottish DJ reportedly wants to seek the permission of Taylor Swift's father first.

OK! went on to add that after the engagement and the wedding, Calvin Harris wants to start family right away as he's always wanted three kids.

However, Gossip Cop said that there's no engagement or wedding to speak of involving Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift.

"Yes, Swift and Harris are dating, but that doesn't mean they're rushing into marriage and a baby," the article said. "This tabloid story is wholly inaccurate, which isn't surprising considering that Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected OK! for false claims about Swift. This is not the first time that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were rumored to be engaged.

Back in July, Life & Style claimed that Calvin Harris has set aside a budget of $500,000 for the engagement ring.

"Taylor loves chunky rings, so he wants to go big. He's looking at cushion-cut center stones," the source told the tabloid.

But Hollywood Life reported that even though Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift are very much in love, don't expect any engagement ring anytime soon.

"They have it made, they are totally in love and have a great time with each other and nothing is going to stop that, but they are not getting engaged, married or eloping," the source told the site.
