Former athlete David Beckham is reportedly determined to launch his acting career this 2015.

It may be a long leap from being a soccer player, but Posh Spice's husband is reportedly not hopping on a Hollywood career without guidance. Apparently, David is coached by none other than his good friend, Tom Cruise.

According to a source, Tom has been monitoring David Beckham's progress in acting. The "Mission: Impossible" star is allegedly assisting David in preparing for the launch of his acting career before 2015 ends.

"Becks feels he is now ready to have a shot at Hollywood thanks to his pal Tom," an insider told Dish Nation. "For the past few years he has been getting advice on what to do on camera."

Tom Cruise is allegedly more than willing to help the former soccer player. With numerous movies under his belt, Katie Holmes' ex-husband may be more than qualified to give acting tips to David.

Tom Cruise has reportedly been watching over David Beckham's development as an actor over the years, and the "Mission: Impossible" star is allegedly giving the former soccer player the green light to start making movies this 2015.

"Tom has spent time discussing screen focus, posture and speech. Tom feels he is ready. Tom is such a good pal that he has told Becks can speed dial him immediately if he has concerns," the source added.
