Robert Pattinson likes his privacy and doesn't really respond to criticisms regarding his relatinship with FKA Twigs.
But the "Twilight" star apprently thinks that enough's enough as he had some choice words for the haters who constantly hound his relationship with the British singer.
In an interviewe with NME, he addressed the keyboard warriors who always had something to say negative about everything.
"I was talking to my dad about this and I bet him that if he looked up Nelson Mandela's funeral on YouTube, the first comment would be a racist one," he said.
And it was, with like a million upvotes. What I don't get is why."
He continued, "I think it's because most normal people are not commenters - I've never met anyone who's left a comment on anything. It's just demons who live in basements. You have this weird thing where you end up trying to fight against this faceless blob, where the more you hate it, the bigger it gets, because it's all in your head."
It's not only Robert Pattinson who's frustrated by all the hate directed at his girlfriend FKA Twigs.
The British singer earlier admitted that it can be quite difficult to date a celebrity.
"I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week," she said. "Racism is unacceptable in the real world, and it's unacceptable online. I wouldn't say I'm completely numb to it now, but there's definitely a numbness there."
Good thing that FKA Twigs, who comes from a mixed home, was prepared by her parents how to deal with racism, and a life with Robert Pattinson, when she was still young.
"Sometimes people are going to treat you differently because of the colour of your skin," she told Sunday Times magazine. "Sometimes you're going to have to work 10 times harder than somebody else to get the same appreciation, but never use it as an excuse. I agree with that."
