"19 Kids And Counting" fans were elated over the news that Jessa and Jill Duggar are starring in TLC spin-off specials this 2015.
The Duggar sisters' TV gig came after "19 Kids And Counting" was cancelled earlier this 2015 in the wake of Josh Duggar's molestation accusations and his Ashley Madison cheating scandal.
According to ET Online, Jessa and Jill Duggar's TLC specials will focus on each sister's married life. Both women were blessed to have a baby this 2015.
"What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child, and we'll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in," TLC executive vice president and general manager Nancy Daniels told The Associated Press, as quoted by Radar Online.
"We know that our audience is really excited about what's been going on with Jill and Jessa as they move into young adulthood," Daniels added. "And now they're both at the precipice of big changes. With what was happening in their lives in the next few months, it felt like now is the time (for the specials), and we got going pretty quickly."
Despite fans being excited about the "19 Kids And Counting" spin-off specials, some speculated that Josh might not be very happy over his sisters' television gigs.
Does Josh Duggar think that his sisters are cashing in on his molestation accusations and cheating scandal? It may not be clear as of now, especially since Josh has been keeping a low profile ever since he was outed as an Ashley Madison client a few months ago.
As KDrama Stars has previously reported, both Jessa and Jill Duggar have admitted that they were among the victims of Josh's alleged molestation when he was a young teen.
Both "19 Kids And Counting" stars have granted an interview with Megyn Kelly about the first of the two scandals that rocked Jim Bob and Michelle's family this 2015.
