For fans still holding on to the hope that Jon Snow is not dead, "Game of Thrones" star Maisie Williams dished a huge reality check.

During an interview for Christian O'Connell on his Absolute Radio breakfast show, as shared by Daily Mail, the 18-year-old appeared to be exasperated in answering the same question over and over again.

"All the time people are asking me if Jon Snow is alive and the answer is no! He's dead! I promise," she said. "I think you're in denial about it for a long time when you see the death of a big character but I can't help but think it makes for such a great storyline!"

"It keeps you coming back for more. My favourite character was Ygritte. But then she died!"

Ygritte, played by Kit Harington's ex Rose Leslie, died in "Game of Thrones" season 4 after the wall was attacked. Her death helps move the story along as Jon Snow can now focus on being the leader of the Night's Watch.

Of course, in the season 5 finale of "Game of Thrones," he was stabbed by his brothers for his perceived betrayal. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, which prompted all the theories on whether or not Jon Snow is really dead.

It didn't help that Kit Harington was spotted in Belfast on the set of "Game of Thrones" while garbed in Stark regalia.

"Having ditched his blacks, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, was standing tall in Stark clothes with his sword on his hip as they filmed on the remote Northern Ireland hilltop," Daily Mail said. "He wore his long locks in his signature man bun and appeared to be deep in conversation as they gathered around several expensive-looking pieces of camera equipment."

Kit Harington also added to the debate when he hinted to Humo magazine, per Vanity Fair, when asked if Jon Snow is really dead.

"Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over," he said. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."
