Is this the biggest PR stunt of all?
Julianna Margulies claimed that there's no feud between her and Archie Panjabi on the set of "The Good Wife" despite persistent reports to the contrary.
"Right, I've heard about [the feud]," she told the New Yorker, as shared by Vulture. "Who says that? It's totally gossip."
The rumors about the feud between Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi went on overdrive when fans noticed the final scene involving the two actresses at the bar on "The Good Wife" was a product of CGI.
"I heard that question had been asked to Robert King. There's no story there, sorry ... I actually had heard [that rumor] and I feel that it has been talked about and answered," the actress added. "I feel people just like to have gossip or make something into something that isn't there. There's no animosity on my part. It's a shame, because I wonder if it was two men, when one finds out that he f***ed his best friend's wife, if it would get that same attention, you know what I mean?"
The two actresses were rumored to be feuding on the set, which allegedly pushed Panjabi into leaving the series. But E! News reportedly talked to sources insisting that there's no tension between the two actresses.
And Archie Panjabi didn't exactly quell the rumors about their feud when she was asked about the CGI scene on "The Good Wife."
"All I can say is this: the decision-making process is not something I'm privy to," the actress said.
Meanwhile, their alleged feud spilled over to Twitter and Us Weekly collected some of the gems as users react to the issue.
"Now Archie Panjabi can speak up without being accused as a tattletale. She HAS to defend herself now. She must," one fan wrote.
"Archie and Julianne are feuding," another said. "It seems Julianne is salty Archie won an Emmy before she did."
"Julianne Marguiles and Archie Panjabi must have had a bad love affair because this is just ridiculous," a third claimed.
