Jeremy Lin's Vine videos have been very popular and really showed off the Charlotte Hornets' guard's sense of humor.
Now Linsanity has a much bigger platform to showcase his acting chops by guesting on the ABC sitcom, "Fresh off the Boat," a week after Shaquille O'Neal's appearance.
"Jeremy Lin of the Charlotte Hornets - and the former New York Knick at the center of Linsanity - will guest-star in the Oct. 13 episode of the family comedy," reported Entertainment Weekly.
"Whereas Shaq appears as himself as the owner of a car dealership, Lin plays 'Chau,' a factory worker who 'frustrates Louis (Randall Park) with his opinions on the Pretty in Pink,'" it added.
He also appeared in a funny promo for Adidas, along with Vaness Wu, where he disguised himself as an overweight fitness trainer, so there's a lot of experience for Jeremy Lin as a comedian.
It appears that Jeremy Lin is really serious about comedy that he paid tribute to one of the greats to ever do it, by debuting his bowl cut ala Moe Howard of the Three Stooges. Actually, that's not the case as Linsanity explained.
"My currents hairstyle, I'm not too happy about but I'm growing it out," he said.
Although Jeremy Lin is expanding his horizons, it' doesn't mean that he's as less serious about making a good impression for the Charlotte Hornets. He's had a good preseason so far, averaging double digits in points.
The Charlotte Hornets fansite said that Linsanity's ability to get to the lane is a strength, particularly Jeremy Lin's 0.8 field goal percentage in the rim
"His 3-point shooting has steadily increased each season, with last year's 36.9 percent a career best. Even if he just maintains that percentage, he is the best 3-point shooting point guard on the roster," it said.
