Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski seemed unaffected by all the attention her "American citizen" remark caused as they enjoyed a date night on Thursday.

The couple watched the Broadway show "Fool for Love" at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on Thursday and they were giddy as teenagers.

"The actress looked madly in love with her husband; beaming as she cuddled up to him, before heading inside," said Daily Mail.

For their date night, Emily Blunt was wearing a boho-style tunic, tight jeans and ankle boots.

"The Office" actor, meanwhile, was wearing a black coat and gray pants along with black sneakers for the occasion.

John Krasinski earlier gushed about wife Emily Blunt in an interview with People magazine.

"It's really that we just got lucky," he said. "It's one of those things, I'm having more fun now than the day I met her, and it's pretty wild. I don't know the formula to it, but I think she's hilarious, extremely talented, and I'm definitely her No. 1 fan."

Emily Blunt, meanwhile, was also all praises for John Krasinski in an interview with Us Weekly, as shared by Wonderwall.

"This is what I find difficult about talking about my marriage: It's hard to sum up something that's so vital and means everything to you in a sound bite," she said. "Do you know what I mean? All I can say is that it's an effing blast. It's just great, and I'm so happy."

"We want to have children; I just don't know when yet," she added. "I'm just not sure about the timing of all of that. We're both from big families, so I think it's something we want."

Although their careers might take them away from each other for long periods of time, Emily Blunt said that she and husband John Krasinski are making sure to open the lines of communication/

"You talk, you email, you do all of that. There is no magic answer," the actress added. "It's just the way anyone else would do it. You do your best and make it a priority."
