DC All Access launched the official trailer of "Batman: Bad Blood." The trailer focuses on the reunion of Bat Family to battle against the dark threat that promises to destroy Gotham.
Warner Bros. is busy exploring their DC Extended Universe in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and their animated film universe has already started with animated films like, "Justice League: War," "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis," "Sons of Batman," and other movies based on the DC Extended Universe.
According to Comingsoon.net, the next animated feature film in DC Extended Universe is "Batman: Bad Blood." The film works as a kind of combination between old and new storylines of the Batman family. The movie is a continuation of the story that already started with "Batman Vs. Robin." However, the film takes inspiration from the comic series by Grant Morrison.
The film will see Dick Grayson (Sean Maher) taking the responsibility of the Batman after Bruce Wayne (Jason O'Mara) is not in Gotham, or apparently being murdered. Damian Wayne (Stuart Allen), the son of Batman and Talia al Ghul, will be seen as Robin. The film will also introduce new characters in the Batman family like, Batwing (Gaius Charles) and Batmwoman (Yvonne Strahovski).
According to Screenrant, "Batman: Bad Blood" is an adaptation of "Batman: R.I.P." written by Grant Morrison. The story puts Batman against the Black Glove Organisation as they attempt to destroy or kill everyone.
It would also be the first time when Batwing will be introduced in any film. Luke Fox aka Batwing has the abilities of martial arts which enhances his power by his armored suit. According to Gaius Charles, "Batman: Bad Blood" marks the beginning of Batwing and there is more scope for him in the future.
Batman: Bad Blood is set to be released in early 2016.
