"The Last Of Us 2" is scheduled to be released but it might take couple of years, confirms the Naughty Dog.
North Nolan, who lends voice to one of the game characters, confirmed that the game which is their next important project will be released in next few years, according to KPop Starz. Naughty Dog's creative director Neil Druckmann also admitted that they confused the fans in the "The Last Of Us 2" trailers.
Druckmann revealed that a silence on the release date gave way to speculation about "The Last Of Us 2" unveiling.
"That [trailer about Joel being infected, eventually forcing Ellie Joel to kill him] was constructed in such a way so that people would guess that and think that that's the obvious ending, and then we could turn it on them," said Druckmann, reported Power Up Gaming.
Does that mean Joel, the lead character of the game won't be dying? Are we not to believe the deceptive trailers and demos? However it is definitely interesting to storm our mind trying to crack the trailer and on the other hand awaiting "The Last Of Us 2" release date.
Druckmann noted that the pre-release trailer was something for fans to look forward to and measure the game's standard. He added that fans will get a feel for the gaming experience when the first trailer and demo streamed.
"We're very conscious about what we want to show in gameplay, what we want to show as far as the story goes, and then we have like a spoiler list of 'Here are the things we're never going to talk about and we're never going to show' because we want them to be completely fresh when you play the game," Druckmann said in the Power Up Gaming report.
As of now, Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4 is slated to be released on March 18, 2016 and "The Last Of Us 2" release date is yet to be revealed.
