Jeremy Lin has made a good impression as he brought Linsanity to the ABC sitcom "Fresh Off the Boat, as the 6-3 point guard got a huge compliment from Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan.
The Harvard alum made sure to promote his cameo in a Twitter post showing him assembling plastic pizza tables. He wrote, "layover in Alaska on my way to China! Be sure to watch @FreshOffABC next week for my acting debut w/ @parkrandall lol."
"Charlotte Hornets guard/future Emmy award-winner Jeremy Lin is no stranger to acting," said Uproxx. "It shouldn't be a surprise, then, that Lin totally nails his one scene in ABC's comedy Fresh off the Boat."
"In his cameo, Lin plays a factory worker named Chau who helps assemble the plastic little tables that go on top of pizzas. To keep morale up, the movie Pretty In Pink is played, which doesn't really seem to help Lin's character at all," it added.
Jeremy Lin has already proven his comedic chops in funny Vine videos. He also appeared in a funny promo for Adidas, along with Vaness Wu, where he disguised himself as an overweight fitness trainer, so there's a lot of experience for Jeremy Lin as a comedian.
Although, Linsanity has a knack for acting, Jeremy Lin's main focus is still basketball and his pre-season showing proved that he was a good signing for the Charlotte Hornets.
In fact, Charlotte Hornets owner, and basketball GOAT, Michael Jordan had high praises for Linsanity.
"We just got Jeremy Lin, who I think is going to be our biggest acquisition," he told Chinese state media, Xinhua News Agency, as shared by The Score. "His penetration, his shooting capability, his point guard savvy, he can really pass the basketball, his energy about the game of basketball."
Jeremy Lin signed a two-year $4-million deal with the Charlotte Hornets following a failed experiment with the Los Angeles Lakers last season.
