The final specifications of the model are available showing the classic QWERTY keyboard and an Android powered Priv's marquee features. The phone flaunts one of the best features of having a keyboard for all those who cannot simply do away with the physical keyboard, said The Verge.
The new Blackberry Priv release date although not available but the final specifications are officially released. The Priv is equipped with a curved 5.4-inch 2560 x 1440 screen, much like Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge. It's packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 32GB of expandable storage, and 3GB of RAM. The camera, often a weak spot on BlackBerry phones, is an 18-megapixel shooter, paired with a 2MP front-facing camera. Blackberry Priv stands forprivacy and privilege, and the company is working with Google to secure its new platform, said Blackberry CEO John Chen, Fortune.com reported.
A video released by the UK Retailer Carphone Warehouse stated that the phone packs everything one loves about Android plus many of the Blackberry features all combined in one sharp, smooth device. The video also compares the Blackberry Priv device to Samsung S6 Edge with its QWERTY sliders keyboard, said BGR.com.
Apart from boasting about dual-curved screen like Samsung S6 Edge, the new Blackberry Priv also features advanced DTEK system which is a warning system app to enhance the handset's privacy, said Techradar.
The Blackberry Priv release date is yet not available for the US and Candian buyers. The device is currently available only via pre-order from the UK retailers and the US buyers will still have to wait. Currently, buyers in the United Stated and Canada can opt or a pre-registrations and will be notified when the device is available for sale in their respective country, said Fortune.com.
