Kdrama sets seem to be a good place for actors to fall in love. The latest couple to confirm their relationship after meeting on the set of a kdrama consists of actor Kang Kyung Joon and actress Jang Shin Young.

The couple recently confirmed that they have been dating since March. They met on the set of the jTBC drama, "Thorn Flower," a daily drama, which ran for six months. Filming wrapped up on Aug. 1.

According to Kang Kyun Joong's agency K Star Entertainment, the two actors became friendly while playing leading roles on the drama. In "Thorn Flower," Jang Shin Young played Jun Se Mi, an innocent woman who is betrayed and then seeks revenge. Kang Kyun Joong played the drama's villain.

"It is true that they are in the beginning stages of their relationship. They became closer because of working together on the drama and developed romantic feelings for each other," said a representative of K Star Entertainment.

The couple did not hide their attraction to each other on set and production staff members were all aware that they were dating. The K Star Entertainment representative said that Jang Shin Young thought Kang Kyung Joon was kind and understanding, while he was attracted to her personality. He was also said to be protective of her.

Jang Shin Young, 29, debuted in 2002 with a role in "The Story of Two Men." She starred in "Winter Bird," "Bride of the Sun," "The Chaser" and currently plays Yoon Seol Hee, a woman who uses her looks to get insider information on the SBS drama, "Empire of Gold." The actress is best known for her role in the "The Empress." She won an award for her work in "The Chaser."

In 2006 she married Wi Seung Cheol, a marketing director at Bae Yong Joon's management agency, BOF. The couple divorced in 2009 and they have a son.

Kang Kyung Joon, 30, debuted in 2004 on the sitcom "Nonstop 5" and became emcee of "Music Bank." He appeared in "The Youth in Bare Foot," "Returned Earthen Bowl," "The History of the Salaryman," "To The Beautiful You," and plays Jin Soo Hyuk in the drama, "Two Women's Room," which began on Aug. 5. In this drama a woman tries to get back her man, her family and her room from another woman. She also wants to seek revenge. The daily drama will have 110 half -hour episodes.
