Was Keith Urban offended over Nicole Kidman talking about her past marriage to Tom Cruise?
The "Moulin Rouge" actress talked about her split with her ex-husband at the Women In the World Summit in London recently.
According to Nicole Kidman, her failed marriage to Tom Cruise pushed her to channel her emotions into acting.
"I was running from my life at that time. I wasn't able to handle the reality of my life and as an actor, you have this wonderful thing where you can go and get lost in somebody else's life and become somebody else for a period of time," Nicole Kidman recalled, as quoted by E! Online.
"And when I look back on it, I really see that. Out of that came work that sort of was applauded and so that was an interesting thing for me."
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise divorced in 2001 after a decade of marriage. It was during those times that the Australian-born actress starred in "Moulin Rouge" and "The Hours," which earned her an Academy Award.
"I then sort of embraced my own life and I got myself together and it took me a number of years and during that time, I worked a lot. The work was a great place for me to exist and then that culminated in winning an Oscar."
What was Keith Urban's reaction over Nicole Kidman reminiscing the heartbreak that she's been through over losing Tom Cruise?
Though the singer hasn't reacted about his wife's interview, it might be hard to imagine Keith Urban getting mad at Nicole Kidman for recounting her heartbreak before they were even together.
In fact, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman seems to be doing very well as they were spotted holding hands while walking in London last week, just after the actress' West End play "Photograph 51," as reported by Daily Mail.
