LexCorp Is Now Live For All Things 'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice'; Fans Are Invited

The LexCorp operating system website is up and waiting for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" followers to sign up and get involved.

While waiting for the most-anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" release five months from now, Warner Bros. thought of a way of keeping the fever going, including viral marketing techniques. The most recent way of keeping the fans involved is the LexCorp website themed "..Build A Better Tomorrow Today."

Signing up at LexCorp.io requires a name and an email address so the system can send them updates. As to what kind of email they will be receiving, Screenrant said it will be most likely something not disappointing, just like what they did in the past.

Using viral marketing with movies started in 2008 with "Batman: Dark Knight," Christopher Nolan's second installment of the Batman trilogy. Warner Bros. had Harvey Dent campaign mailing and stickers, websites, scavenger hunts and fake Gotham newspapers.

One major viral marketing is to let fans feel they are taking part of the hyped film so WB makes LexCorp appear like a real entity. Another example is Jessie Eisenberg's aka Lex Luthor Jr. faux pas interview with Fortune, said We Got This Covered.

For now, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" fans can only move up and down the website. They will see signup option when they go down and the corporate mission when they move up. The official Twitter account of Alexander Luthor is on the upper right hand side.

The viral LexCorp had its presence, too, during the recently concluded New York Comic Con where there was Lex Luthor-sponsored free Wi-Fi access for the attendees, with chargers at the LexCorp booth. Also seen was a paid Forbes article "Lex Luthor Jr.: Not Just His Father's LexCorp," which featured the young Luthor in an entertaining manner and he was made to look good in the public eye.

Followers have yet to see what kind of Luthor the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will have on March 25.
