Kate Middleton is all over the news after attending her first ever state dinner in honor of Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the United Kingdom.
Prince William's wife looked dazzling as she wore a tiara once owned by the Queen Mother. Kate Middleton was undoubtedly a show stopper as she donned a scarlet Jenny Packham gown.
"She [Kate Middleton ] was seated in the most prominent position for a female member of the royal family after the Queen - on the President's right while the monarch, as is custom, sat on Mr Xi's left," Daily Mail wrote in a news report.
"As the wife of the second in line to throne, Kate takes William's status when she accompanies him, so outranks blood princesses such as the Princess Royal, who was also present," the report explained.
Vanity Fair noted that the state dinner was only the third time that Kate Middleton was seen sporting a tiara.
"The previous two occasions: her wedding, in 2011, and a Buckingham Palace reception for diplomats, in 2013," the magazine reported in a news article.
Amid the public being astounded by Kate Middleton's attendance at the state dinner, there is allegedly one international personality that the Duchess is not willing to personally welcome in the palace - Kim Kardashian.
Despite Kim Kardashian's purported efforts at meeting Kate Middleton, the Duchess reportedly remains uninterested.
"Kim has apparently tried to secure invitations to every event that Kate is scheduled to appear at," Celeb Dirty Laundry claimed in a news report.
"Her desperate attempts to contact Kate Middleton were starting to get borderline creepy - and an insider dished that Kate even cancelled one of her events at the last minute because she heard that Kim would be there."
According to a report, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are allegedly pissed off over the Duchess trying to avoid them like the plague.
"After years of trying to worm her way in to Kate's life, it was one rejection too many. She and Kanye can't believe that any one would treat them this way," a source reportedly told Star Magazine, as quoted by CDL. "She is devastated."
