Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are all set to give their marriage a second chance. Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her marriage. The couple had signed their papers earlier in July this year but the judge had yet to signoff due to file backlog. Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013, but sat on it for a year and a half because she tried to save her marriage by trying to get Lamar into rehab. She finally gave up this summer said TMZ.com.
Khloe's attorney Laura Wasser went into court this morning and asked the judge to withdraw the divorce petition. Lamar signed Tuesday from his hospital bed and Wasser signed on behalf of Khloe. The judge granted the petition and the divorce case is now over, said E!.
An insider confirmed the news adding that it was a very delicate and difficult time for both Lamar and Khloe. The source also added that the most sensible thing to do at such a time was not make any big moves and put everything on hold. This is what Khloe was seemed to be doing. It also said that everything had been very emotional and draining for Khloe, said US Weekly.
31-year old Khloe Kardashian had remained by Lamar Odom's side since Tuesday, Oct. 13. He was found unconscious at legal brothel Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada. After being treated at Sunrise Hospital, Odom was airlifted to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Hospital on Monday, Oct. 19. She had also been making all medical decisions for Odom during his critical condition, said US Magazine.
Moreover, Lamar Odom's family says he has taken a few steps since arriving in Los Angeles rendering it to be a "miraculous progress" for the former NBA player.
