Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield's relationship is reportedly on the rocks and may be headed to a breakup as the actress has allegedly developed some feelings for her "La La Land" co-star, Ryan Gosling.
To be fair, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield has never publicly confessed that they are an item.
Commented Vanity Fair, "After meeting on the set of their first Spider-Man movie together, the pair dated, presumably, for several years; we use the word 'presumably' because, over the course of their perceived courtship, they never actually publicly referred to each other as 'boyfriend' or 'girlfriend,' or otherwise acknowledged the nature of their relationship."
Lately, it was reported that the "Birdman" actress and Ryan Gosling have allegedly been flirting on the set of "La La Land," which worried his partner, Eva Mendes. The closeness is also allegedly why Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield's breakup is imminent.
"It doesn't matter how many times Ryan tells Eva that he and Emma are just friends, she knows there's an attraction there," an alleged source told Star.
Prior to "La La Land," Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone previously worked on "Gangster Squad" and the romantic movie, "Crazy, Stupid Love."
But if the tabloids will continue to speculate on whether or not Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield's breakup is happening, the actress is content to let them be.
In an interview with WSJ, she said that keeping her personal life private is a conscious decision even if her job exposes her to a very public life.
"I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason-because it's all so speculative and baseless," she said of her relationship with Andrew Garfield.
"Once you start responding-once you're like, 'No, that's not true'-then they're like, 'Well, if we push enough, we'll get a comment, so let's see what else we can make up.' I understand the interest in it completely, because I've had it, too. But it's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it."
