Alicia Florrick will find herself in another legal tussle as Diane's moral compass will be severely challenged, according to the latest spoilers for episode 4 of "The Good Wife" season 7.
Cartermatt said that it's a good thing that the show will provide Christine Baranski (Diane Lockhart) the opportunity to show off her acting wares once again.
"We don't really think that this past episode gave her a chance to do too much other than act upset over Alicia talking with Howard ... even if that case is really not going to result in much of anything when the dust settles," it said.
"She has to figure out how to work through some new dynamics with Alicia, while all of the characters continue to look ahead and plan for what their future could be," the article added.
The synopsis for episode 4 of "The Good Wife" season 7 offers plenty of spoilers as it reads, "Alicia clashes with a bond court judge when she agrees to support a client's plea of innocence in a shoplifting case. Meanwhile, Diane is coerced into arguing against her own beliefs in a case focusing on physician-assisted suicide."
Meanwhile, Julianna Margulies will have a crash course in the nuances of bonds court when her plea was quashed by a judge.
All these issues will crop up while Peter's electoral campaign is ongoing, which should provide a nice backdrop to the already complex storyline.
"The Good Wife" stars Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick, Matt Czuchry as Cary Agos, Christine Baranski as Diane Lockhart, Alan Cumming as Eli Gold, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Jason Crouse, Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn and Zach Grenier as David Lee.
Watch out for more "The Good Wife" season 7 spoilers ahead of the airing date for episode 4 on Sunday at 9 p.m. on CBS.
