Simon Cowell, the "X Factor" judge and co-creator of One Direction, gave some fatherly advice to Louis Tomlinson on his coming baby with Briana Jungwirth.
During an interview with "Good Morning Britain," as shared by The Spec, the mega producer said that he told Louis Tomlinson to enjoy the moment.
"If I had been his age and someone had said you're going to have a baby, I'm not sure how I would have coped with it," he confessed. "But he did call me and I said when you've embraced it you'll be amazed how much you are going to love it and it will change your life for the better. And that's it."
One Direction founder Simon Cowell previously told The Sun that he was very happy when he heard about the news regarding Louis Tomlinson's baby with Briana Jungwirth.
"I said to him, 'You man up. You're fortunate because you're in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that. But I also told him, 'I've received bad calls in my life but this is not one of them. This is your business but I'm here for you.' Sounds like true fatherly advice and it's safe to say Louis did not disregard that piece of guidance."
Simon Cowell, however, confessed that it was very difficult at first being a first-time dad especially since baby Eric wasn't responding to him.
"And then suddenly one day they are talking, listening, responding, communicating, whole different ball game, and also they sort of become a bit like you, which I don't know is a good thing or a bad thing!" he quipped.
Brian Jungwirth was first reported to be pregnant with Louis Tomlinson's baby back in July. The news came as a shock especially since the One Direction singer had just broken up with his girlfriend of four years, Eleanor Calder.
